Diagnostic or assessment studies are often carried out in healthy persons or those with a heart problem.
This department plays an important role in the prevention, assessment, follow-up and main diagnosis of coronary heart diseases.
The studies currently conducted are:
- Electrocardiogram
- Pacemaker analysis
- Cardiovascular preventive programs with basic imaging and laboratory testing for the cardiovascular stratification of coronary risk
- Stress testing (walker) or bicycle
- Holter placement (24-48 hour electrocardiographic readings) for detecting arrhythmias and coronary problems
- Ambulatory pressure monitoring
- Inclination tests for determinig syncope
- Transthoracic, transesophageal, effort and pharmacological echocardiography
