The Pathology Department is indispensable at initial diagnosis and/or for determining the degree of evolution of certain oncological, renal, gastrointestinal, neurological and dermatological diseases, among others. 

This department works basically with three areas: surgery, cytology (cellular studies) and post mortem testing.
