This area is designated for the care of newborns.  Under strict rules of security and surveillance, neonates from the Birthing Room at the Obstetrics Surgical Unit, as well as infants from other hospitals are welcomed and cared for. 

The Neonatology Unit has Neonatal Intensive and Intermediate Care areas, as well as a normal and physiological nursery. 

The Neonatology Unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology including vital sign monitors, and devices for measuring arterial oxygen saturation.
