Heart rehabilitation is a program where the treating physician, cardiologist, heart-care nurses, psychiatrists, psychologists, nutritionists and cardiopneumologists, among others take part.  The program is directed to patients with heart problems, with certain lung conditions, vascular insufficiency of legs, etc. 

It also cares for patients with risk factors for coronary problems, that is to say, smokers, patients with high cholesterol levels, blood pressure, diabetes mellitus, are sedentary, over-weight, etc.
